Black Seed – ‘The Remedy For Everything But Death’

Black Seed - 'The Remedy For Everything But Death'

This humble, but immensely powerful seed, kills MRSA, heals the chemical weapon poisoned body, stimulates regeneration of the dying beta cells within the diabetic’s pancreas, and yet too few even know it exists.

The seeds of the annual flowering plant, Nigella Sativa, have been prized for their healing properties since time immemorial.  While frequently referred to among English-speaking cultures as Roman coriander, black sesame, black cumin, black caraway and onion seed, it is known today primarily as black seed, which is at the very least an accurate description of its physical appearance.    (more…)

Mistletoe: A Kiss-Off to Cancer?

Mistletoe the cheery kiss-inducing Christmas plant contains a natural compound that has been found to have potent anti-cancer properties.

Scientists at the University of Adelaide in Australia have determined the extract of mistletoe could either assist chemotherapy or act as an alternative to drugs as a treatment for colon cancer, the second leading cause of cancer death in the Western world.

Mistletoe extract is now used as an alternative colon cancer therapy in some parts of Europe, but lack of scientific testing has kept it off the market in Australia and the United States. That new research, led by Zahra Lotfollahi, could change that. (more…)

Eating Purple Cabbage Is Great For Your Skin And Prevents Cancer

Besides lending itself as a food of art, adding wonderful color in salads and main dishes, purple cabbage with its antioxidant properties also works wonders for the skin and prevents cancer.

Along with other cole crops, cabbage is a source of indole-3-carbinol, a chemical that boosts DNA repair in cells and appears to block the growth of cancer cells. A team of researchers at Ohio State University announced that anthocyanins, the compounds that give cabbage its purple color are capable of cutting the growth of colon cancer cells both in vitro and in rats by 50%-100%, with certain extracts even destroying up to 20% of the cancer cells while leaving healthy surrounding cells intact. Orthodox Cancer Treatments Don’t Treat Cancer

Most fine doctors like Dr. Ben Goldacre like to have all the available facts about a prescription drug before prescribing it. However, when it comes to pharmaceutical medicines, it’s nearly impossible to find real data, so doctors really never know the true dangers about the drugs they use.

Not only are they not sure about the side effects and the possibility of death but they are also not sure whether or not the drug will help the patient at all. In short, modern medicine is based on research fraud and we find doctors and medical officials, including the FDA, abandoning their public health mission by revolving everything they do and promote around pharmaceutical interests. Anything non-pharmaceutical in nature is patently condemned. (more…)

Spinach influences gene expression to cut colon cancer risk in half

Colorectal cancers represent the fourth most prevalent form of the disease with more than 150,000 cases diagnosed each year and more than 50,000 deaths. Forward-thinking nutrition researchers understand that this particular form of the disease is largely preventable through lifestyle changes including healthy diet, exercise and smoking cessation. The newly emerging science of Epigenetics is shining a light on the specific mechanism of food-based nutrients to influence genetic expression helping to prevent many diseases, especially colon cancer. Magnesium Reduces the Risk for Colon Cancer

Magnesium deficiency is prevalent in just about any person whose health is struggling or slipping into a trend in the wrong direction. This can be predicted because magnesium is required to run many genes and enzymes, reduce inflammation, and enhance genomic stability.  Thus, it is frequently lacking in the context of struggling health. A new study shows that for each increase of 100 mg of magnesium per day, the risk of colon cancer drops by 13 percent. (more…)

Vitamin D revealed to be miracle anti-cancer ‘drug’ with astonishing chemical properties

A new study published this month finds that the hormonally active form of vitamin D, Calcitriol 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D(3), inhibits the growth of many kinds of cancerous cells, including breast cancer, indicating that vitamin D3 can be useful in treating and even preventing a variety of cancers. Authors of the study said that caner cell growth is inhibited by “anticancer actions including cell cycle arrest, promotion of apoptosis and inhibition of invasion, metastasis, and angiogenesis.” Vitamin D’s anti-inflammatory properties and interference with estrogen synthesis further explains its anti-tumor properties. Vitamin D: powerful cancer protection

Vitamin D insufficiency is common among Americans overall but more prevalent among African Americans. A recent review of the literature suggests that vitamin D insufficiency is a key contributor to cancer survival disparities that exist between African Americans and white Americans (darker skin is less efficient at producing vitamin D in response to UV rays).1 A striking part of this literature review is the comprehensive summary of the existing data on vitamin D status and cancer survival: the authors present a long list of studies reporting that vitamin D adequacy is associated wit h reduced risk of death in all cancers combined, breast, colorectal, lung, and prostate cancer, leukemia and lymphomas.1 (more…)

Cancer, Sulfur, Garlic & Glutathione

Descrição: organic_sulfur_MSM

What do garlic and glutathione have in common? Sulfur! Sulfur is commonly used in Asia as an herbal medicine to treat inflammation and cancer. Organic sulfur has been studied on oral and other cancers and has been found to have remarkable benefit in anti-cancer therapy.[1]

Sulfur is an essential element for all life, and is widely used in biochemical processes. In metabolic reactions, sulfur compounds serve as both fuels and respiratory (oxygen-replacing) materials for simple organisms. Sulfur in organic form is present in the vitamins biotin and thiamine, the latter being named for the Greek word for sulfur. Sulfur is an important part of many enzymes and in antioxidant molecules like glutathione and thioredoxin. (more…)
