The Roots of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, and Other Autoimmune Illnesses

You have countless immune cells in every corner of your body that are constantly working to keep you healthy by identifying, packaging, and eliminating harmful substances that have made their way into your blood.

If your immune system falters and begins to identify some of your own tissues as being harmful or unnecessary, it will work to attack and eliminate these tissues through an inflammatory response that can cause pain and discomfort in many forms – this is how autoimmune illness develops.

The specific tissue or groups of tissues (organs) that your immune system decides to attack is determined by your genetics. (more…)

Fatal Auto-Immune Disorder Caused By Hepatitis B Vaccine

vaccine

Today, newborn babies are injected with as many as 30+ vaccines before the age of 3. Within these vaccines is a number of ingredients that are anything but natural and have been shown to be unsafe.  Vaccines contain Mercury, Msg, Formaldehyde, Aluminum and are the cause of multiple diseases.

The hepatitis B vaccine has been linked to auto-immune disorders. An autoimmune disorder is a condition that occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys healthy body tissue. There are more than 80 different types of autoimmune disorders. (more…)

Low vitamin D levels can alter your gene expression

Mon. Apr.1, 2013 by Blanche Levine

Antibiotic News(NaturalHealth365) Low vitamin D levels can be the most damaging influence on our genetic health, according to professor George Ebers, Action Medical Research professor of Clinical Neurology and one of the senior authors of published scientific research.

What are the capabilities of vitamin D?

Researchers, at the University of Oxford, have shown the extent in which vitamin D interacts with our DNA. The researchers found 2,776 binding sites from the vitamin D receptor along the length of the genome. These are the ones unusually concentrated near a number of genes associated with autoimmune conditions such as MS, Crohn’s disease, systemic lupus, rheumatoid arthritis and cancers such as, lymphocytic leukemia and colorectal cancer. How Inflammation Affects Every Aspect of Your Health

Inflammation controls our lives. Have you or a loved one dealt with pain, obesity, ADD/ADHD, peripheral neuropathy, diabetes, heart disease, stroke, migraines, thyroid issues, dental issues, or cancer?

If you answered yes to any of these disorders you are dealing with inflammation.

Sadly, most of us are suffering from one or more of these disorders but have no idea how to eliminate inflammation. Most doctors are utilizing pharmaceuticals in lieu of getting to the root cause.

It often seems extremely foreign to most people when they realize the majority of inflammatory diseases start in the gut with an autoimmune reaction which progresses into systemic inflammation. To truly be effective at managing or hopefully overcome a disease it needs to be addressed on all levels. Taking a look at where this process starts is the key.

A Gluten for Punishment: the Whole Grain Assault on Health

Nathan Daley, MD, MPH

Waking Times

From Few to You

Among thoughtful and informed medical providers and public alike, there is an ongoing transition toward recognizing adverse health effects from grains as being common and normal rather than rare and abnormal.  Not all medical providers, of course, support this change in perspective and some are downright hostile toward it.  Likewise, a segment of the public seems to be irritated by the gluten free trend and consider it just a silly fad.

Yet, if medicine is to be science based, no credible medical provider can dismiss the possibility that a large proportion of the U.S. (and possibly world) population may be sensitive to certain molecules present in most grains.  Similarly, those that belittle the gluten free movement as a fad might, in fact, be an unknowing victim of grain sensitivity.

Celiac disease may have been described by the ancient physician Aretaeus of Cappadocia in the first century CE.  It was not until the 1940′s, however, that the Dutch physician Willem Karel Dicke connected the disease to wheat as a result of the Dutch famine of 1944, in which wheat was scarce and those suffering from the disease seemed to dramatically improve.  Since that time, modern medicine has narrowly defined the disease as an autoimmune disease resulting from the ingestion of gliadin, a component of wheat gluten. Paleo for Autoimmune Illness

I have always been interested in holistic medicine. Even as a teenager, I read and studied many different healing modalities. Given my love of medicine and my participation in competitive sports, it was no surprise to anyone that I became a Certified Athletic Trainer and physical therapist. Over the past 20 years in my healthcare career, I have worked in many different settings. The constants in my career have been interacting with people in pain and using all of my knowledge/skills to assist them in restoring maximum function.

I have a special interest in working with people who experience chronic pain. As happens with many people, it took my own experience to propel me to study and learn more about how to best help this patient population. In 2007, I became very ill with what was later diagnosed as Hashimoto’s Thyroiditis. This is an autoimmune illness (AI) caused by the body mounting an attack on the thyroid gland in an attempt to destroy it. For those who have not heard of this illness, the thyroid is a major part of the endocrine system. It is a gland that makes and stores hormones that help regulate the heart rate, blood pressure, body temperature, and the rate at which food is converted into energy. Thyroid hormones are essential for the function of every cell in the body. They help regulate growth and the rate of chemical reactions (metabolism) in the body.

You’re slowly being poisoned

Want a shock? Go get tested for heavy metals. Your jaw will drop when you see the results.

I know, because I see the reactions in my own clinic every single day.

The reality is, nearly everyone has way too much lead, mercury, arsenic, and other toxic heavy metals inside them — and these metals are a major cause of supposedly incurable conditions.

I say “supposedly” because I often can cure or improve them, and I’ll tell you everything you need to know to get started on your own cure in a moment.

First, a new study confirms the role of toxic heavy metals in autoimmune disease — especially among women battling disorders such as thyroid disease, MS, rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and lupus. (more…)

New Nanoparticle Vaccine Adjuvant May Add to Autoimmune Disorders & Allergies

Yet another gaming of the inherent inadequacy of vaccinations is sure to result in ever more of the autoimmune disorders plaguing modern society. New research is focused on a bioengineered nanoparticle adjuvant that’s copies a normal part of the autoimmune system. (more…)

HOW SYSTEMIC ENZYMES WORK TO CURE DISEASES

http://www.enzymedicablog.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/19_virastop.jpg

Aging appears to begin between the ages of 27 and 35 when the production of enzymes that dissolve protein begins to diminish. Enzymes are widely recognized for their importance in digesting food. They also break up circulating immune complexes in the blood. Enzymes can act to prevent too much fibrin from being deposited in wounds, fractures and joints. These enzymes also remove necrotic debris and excess fibrin from the blood stream. Immune system regulation can also be accomplished with enzymes. Most of the development of systemic enzyme therapy was carried out in the Far East and Europe. Enzyme therapy is a prime example of a situation in which US medicine is missing the boat due to a lack o of awareness of what the rest of the world is doing and our unwillingness to use therapies not made by “big pharma.” Enzymes can not be patented so they are of little interest to drug companies.
