Further evidence that extra calories cause heart attacks comes from the fact that reducing your intake of calories by one third and eating nothing but fatty meats and diary products will cause your blood cholesterol level to go down
The arteries are major blood vessels the heart uses to pump blood from the it to the rest of the body. Over time, arterial walls can become congested with a fatty substance known as plaque. When this happens to a severe point, the arteries may begin to harden and the blood flow can become compromised and ultimately result in a heart attack. Mainstream medicine’s approach for treating plaque is to use drugs or surgery. However, there are natural ways to prevent and remove plaque.
Flying in the face of Western-medicine dogma is a Journal of the American Medical Association study showing that tight control of blood pressure with drugs is actually associated with an increased risk of death
mainstream studies are showing that approximately 2/3 to ¾ of current statin sales have no useful purpose or are actually harmful. If we want to reduce health care costs this is a great place to start.
Detoxification is the process in which the body eliminates or neutralizes toxic substances. Toxins come from various sources including the air, diet, drugs, alcohol, smoking, as well as metabolic by-products. Thus, lifestyle factors play a significant role in the accumulation of toxins. The build-up of toxins results in cellular damage, and eventually chronic disease. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention report that almost half of American adults have at least one chronic disease. Chronic diseases including heart disease, stroke, cancer, diabetes, and arthritis are among the most common, costly, and preventable of all health problems in the U.S.1
The body utilizes several routes of detoxification including the skin, lungs, kidneys, liver, and intestines. What’s important to keep in mind is that there are two pathways by which the body detoxifies harmful substances and it’s essential to support both of these pathways in order to detoxify effectively. Supporting only one of the detoxification pathways can actually do more harm than good. (more…)
