I have sought to validate my intuition around the hubris of our efforts to outsmart nature, through the available scientific literature. We are suffering from our dualistic perspectives: human vs germs, body vs. disease, I vs me.

The creation of a person’s gut composition starts at birth as an the infant is exposed to the bacteria in his or her mother’s birth canal. “The initial gut colonization is instrumental in shaping the composition of the adult’s gut microbiota,” report the researchers. From then on, there are both internal and external factors that can affect your gut, including environmental microbes, foods you eat, intestinal pH, and drugs.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) claims that it’s basically a death sentence for you and your children. But raw milk consumption, according to a new study published in The Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology, can actually help prevent colds, viruses and respiratory tract infections (RTIs) from forming in kids, as opposed to commercially processed milk which provides little or no health benefits.

A cohort of researchers, doctors and other medical professionals from across Europe investigated the effects of raw milk versus boiled farm-fresh milk and commercial processed milk as part of a larger investigatory project known as “PASTURE.” A group of women, roughly half of whom lived and worked on livestock farms in rural areas of mostly central Europe, were recruited to participate in the research. The 10 American Study by EWG

EWG did a study called the 10 American Study – looking at chemicals such as DDT, mercury, Polychlorinated biphenyls, (PCB’s) etc. in the blood of 10 Americans.

They found up to 300 industrial toxic pollutants in the blood of these 10 Americans. They knew the exposures were not from the air, water or food. The exposures were from the womb because the 10 Americans were newborn babies.
