Study: Vitamin D May Repair MS Nerve Damage

By Dr. Mercola

Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a chronic, neurodegenerative disease of the nerves in your brain and spinal column, caused by a demyelization process. In MS, your immune system mistakenly attacks the myelin, which is a protective coating around your nerve fibers.

This leads to disruptions in the messages sent around your brain and spinal cord, leading to symptoms such as trouble balancing, muscle weakness, tremors, pain, and fatigue.

Researchers have long been searching for a method to repair this damage to the myelin, and thereby slow, stop or even reverse the course of the disease.

While your body does have the ability to repair myelin naturally, this process tends to become less effective as you get older. Now, however, researchers have uncovered a natural option that might play a major role in boosting the repair of damaged myelin in people with MS: vitamin D.

Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Depression & Bipolar Disorder All Linked to Metal Toxicants

metal toxicants19th January 2014

By Dr. Marianna Pochelli ND

Guest Writer for Wake Up World

Metal toxicants entering the part of the brain that deals with stress and panic have been linked to disorders dealing with the central nervous system. Increasing evidence indicates that damage to the locus ceruleus (LC), is present in a wide range of neurodegenerative diseases including demyelinating and psychiatric disorders.

There are a growing number of Clinicians and Scientists who are convinced that excitotoxins and heavy metals play a critical role in the development of several neurological disorders, including migraines, seizures, infections, abnormal neural development, certain endocrine disorders, specific types of obesity, and especially the neurodegenerative diseases; a group of diseases which includes ALS, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s disease, Huntington’s disease, and olivopontocerebellar degeneration. Vitamin D Fights MS: Johns Hopkins

In new research published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences, the so-called “sunshine vitamin” appeared to block damage-causing immune cells from migrating to the central nervous system, offering a potential explanation for why it may prevent or ease symptoms of the neurodegenerative disease. Human Beings Human Beasts

http://images.theage.com.au/2009/04/07/463453/immunisation_lead_gallery__521x400-420x0.jpg

We find human beasts everywhere today. Some are sucking billions into themselves at the expense of the human herd and others line up and wait for the birth of a pure baby being so they can beat it up in every way you can imagine.

Newborn babies are the most vulnerable of all beings. It is easy to hurt most beings but little babies are the most vulnerable and the easiest to hurt. Babies are born with the need for tender touch, looking to unite in bliss with the beings that brought them into the world. What do we expect to happen to such beings when they are met with medical violence, arrogance and aggression? (more…)

The Roots of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, and Other Autoimmune Illnesses

You have countless immune cells in every corner of your body that are constantly working to keep you healthy by identifying, packaging, and eliminating harmful substances that have made their way into your blood.

If your immune system falters and begins to identify some of your own tissues as being harmful or unnecessary, it will work to attack and eliminate these tissues through an inflammatory response that can cause pain and discomfort in many forms – this is how autoimmune illness develops.

The specific tissue or groups of tissues (organs) that your immune system decides to attack is determined by your genetics. (more…)

B12 deficiency: a silent epidemic with serious consequences

elderly woman looking distressedWhat do all of these diseases have in common?

  • Alzheimer’s, dementia, cognitive decline and memory loss (collectively referred to as “aging”)
  • Multiple sclerosis (MS) and other neurological disorders
  • Mental illness (depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, psychosis)
  • Cardiovascular disease
  • Learning or developmental disorders in kids
  • Autism spectrum disorder
  • Autoimmune disease and immune dysregulation
  • Cancer
  • Male and female infertility

Answer: they can all mimic the signs and symptoms of vitamin B12 deficiency.

Just One Dose of Vitamin D Can Prevent The Progression of Multiple Sclerosis – 9 Day Remission In 92 Percent of Subjects

One single dose of calcitriol, the metabolically active version of vitamin D, followed by ongoing vitamin D supplementation has been shown to prevent the progression of multiple sclerosis, according to new research.

Calcitriol (vitamin D3), is transformed in the liver and kidneys into 25- hydroxyvitamin D (25(OH)D), the non-active ‘storage’ form, and 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D (1,25(OH)2D), the biologically active form that is tightly controlled by the body.

Several studies have reported that the D3 form of the vitamin is more potent that D2, with a study led by Robert Heaney, MD, from Creighton University in Nebraska reporting earlier last year that D3 was 87% more potent than D2 (Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, doi: 10.1210/jc.2010-2230). An overwhelming amount of very promising research has been gathered supporting the use of medical cannabis for many illnesses and diseases… and the evidence is now impossible to ignore.

Examples:

Fatal Auto-Immune Disorder Caused By Hepatitis B Vaccine

vaccine

Today, newborn babies are injected with as many as 30+ vaccines before the age of 3. Within these vaccines is a number of ingredients that are anything but natural and have been shown to be unsafe.  Vaccines contain Mercury, Msg, Formaldehyde, Aluminum and are the cause of multiple diseases.

The hepatitis B vaccine has been linked to auto-immune disorders. An autoimmune disorder is a condition that occurs when the immune system mistakenly attacks and destroys healthy body tissue. There are more than 80 different types of autoimmune disorders. (more…)
