The next time you experience a cold or the flu, remember this: rather than take conventional drugs to suppress uncomfortable symptoms, it’s better for your health to allow the cold or flu to run its course while you get plenty of physical and emotional rest.
Conventional medicine and the pharmaceutical industry would have you believe that there is no “cure” for the common cold, that you should protect yourself against the flu with a vaccine that is laden with toxic chemicals, and that during the midst of a cold or flu, it is favorable to ease your discomfort with a variety of medications that can suppress your symptoms. Oregano is nature’s antibiotic. It may be one reason why people who eat a Mediterranean diet tend to live longer and healthier lives. Besides making pizza, pasta and salad taste great, the oil of the wild oregano plant has been shown to kill unwanted bacteria, fungus, yeast, parasites and viruses. It’s a powerful antihistamine. New research is finding that oil of oregano is as effective against colitis as prescription drugs without the harmful side effects. It is also able to regenerate liver cells. (more…)
Two thousand, three hundred years ago, Alexander The Great was surveying his battlefield and drinking water from silver urns. He knew nothing about bacteria, but he knew that silver containers have a seemingly miraculous way of keeping water fresh. Silver has been used for thousands of years in different forms for its health benefits. Throughout the middle ages, the wealthy gave their children silver spoons to suck upon to stave off illnesses. People have known about the benefits of silver for so long that it is incorporated into legends. Silver is the recommended agent for killing vampires, werewolves, and various forms of the so-called undead. According to ancient legend, a silver dagger was all that a knight needed to vanquish evil.
The new history of silver is a falsified history. Silver was once used extensively by all health care practitioners as an antibiotic, anti-viral, and as an anti-microbial. Nothing worked better then, and nothing does now. The F.D.A. began its crusade against silver products in the 1930’s, because silver (as a natural substance) cannot be patented; but the organization’s antibiotic and vaccine industry partners were able to patent their wares. Under the Food and Drug Administration’s original name, The Bureau of Chemistry, its real mission was to legally protect the chemical industry by declaring toxic chemicals to be “generally recognized as safe”, and to eliminate the chemical industry’s competition through regulations. This history has likewise been obscured greatly in most modern historical texts, but the truth can be found in materials from its early period. (more…)
Bentonite clay is one of the most versatile and inexpensive natural treatments available. It provides a world of health benefits and is heralded for its safe and effective cleansing properties. Bentonite clay is composed of aged volcanic ash found in different parts of the world, and it has been used in treating medical conditions since earliest recorded history. The largest and most popular deposit is found near Fort Benton, Wyoming – hence the name bentonite clay.Some of the many health benefits of bentonite clay are:*Cleansing the liver, colon and skin;
*Balancing bacteria in the digestive tract;
*Improving nutrient assimilation; and
*Strengthening the immune system.
In addition, bentonite clay can also eliminate food allergies, food poisoning, colitis, viral infections and parasites. It is an effective treatment for arthritis, cataracts, diabetic neuropathy, pain, wounds, diarrhea, stomach ulcers, animal and insect bites, acne, anemia and alcoholism. It can be included in natural toothpaste. Bentonite clay is effective in treating all digestive conditions and aids in weight loss. Bentonite clay also re-mineralizes cells and tissues, alkalizes the body and is very effective in protecting our bodies against radiation damage. (more…)
When most people contract a cold or flu, they head to their doctor or the local drug store to pick up some type of drug they believe will alleviate their symptoms. With a cold, flu or any other virus, drugs only have the ability to mask or treat symptoms, but they cannot eliminate the virus itself. Only the immune system can do that. Viruses, which are very small infectious agents that replicate inside the body, only cause illness in the first place if the immune system fails to do its job. (more…)
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is a neurological disorder affecting anywhere from 250,000 to 450,000 people in the US.1 MS is a chronic inflammatory disease of the central nervous system (CNS) with underlying immune abnormalities.2 The disease is more common in women than men and peaks at age 20 to 40. Multiple sclerosis presents differently in different patients with the symptoms ranging from mild neurological impairments to debilitating deficits of motor, cognitive, and visual function. Multiple sclerosis pathogenesis is believed to involve an autoimmune response within the CNS, resulting in demyelination and axonal injury. Inflammation and demyelination seem to be the primary pathology in the relapsing forms of MS, whereas neurodegeneration seems to dominate in the progressive forms of the disease.3 There is no definitive cause or cure for MS, and multiple etiologies are discussed in the literature. Flu vaccines are perhaps one of the most promoted, yet highly ineffective measures of preventative (or so claimed) mainstream medicine. There are so many simple and reliable methods to prevent the flu virus from replicating all while using herbs and tonics to boost our immune system and create the ultimate defense barrier against influenza.
I recently reported in my article “If You Would Like To Depress Your Immune System, Get This Year’s Flu Shot” how vaccines serve a nice dose of carcinogenic, immunotoxic, neurotoxic, and sterility agents. Further reading on the quackery of the entire vaccine industry can be found can be found in an earlier report “The Entire Vaccine Industry Is Being Exposed For Unproven Assumptions And Misrepresentations of Data.” (more…)
